Today is Friday for me- I am taking off Thursday and Friday for a little spring break fun. The interesting thing about this time of year is that it is a pivotal time in my life. March of 2000 I started working for Custom Food Group- a lucrative contract position, then, in March or 2001, I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee, March of 2002 I quit that lucrative position, and became unemployed for a while- and here it is March of 2003 and I got rid of that same Jeep I had bought in 2001. I don't know what it is- maybe the weather? Maybe God just likes stirring up my life in March? I don't know, but each of these major decisions have all happened in March around the same time- funny.

On another note- have you ever had to walk down long hallways at work and pass people that you know repeatedly? Or perhaps you had a long conversation in the grocery store with someone and you keep seeing that person later- what do you do? Why is it akward? I never know what to say- do you ignore them and act like you don't see them every time you run into them, or do you keep making your small waves and smiles each and every time?

At work, I have to walk down a long hallway to get to the bathroom or the break room. You see the same people all the time, do you give them the head nod? Here are a list of things I have noticed about people-

1. They speak to you- "Good Morning"
2. They ignore you
3. They pick lint off their shirt so they can keep from making eye contact with you
4. They look at their watch for the same reason as above
5. They keep their head either down, or straight ahead, but at no time do they let their eyes stray in the direction of your presence.

personally I do all of these things too- sometimes I don't feel like talking, or making nice. Sometimes I am in the Eddo Zone and I really don't see them, sometimes I read a book while walking down the hall.
When i am in the grocery store, I hate running into that same person over and over again. I don't know why it is so akward for me- is it akward for you?
