The constants...
There are some things in life that are blessedly constant. Parents, they never change, they are always there for you, fixing your hair, wiping that smudge off your face, listening to what you have to say and making it seem like it is important when it is really nothing more than inane ramblings.
Good friends that have the staying power of skunk stench- no matter how many times you dowse then in the sour lemon juice of life, they stay with you, hanging on, clinging to your very fibers, refusing to let go.
The feeling of home. There is nothing better than being in your own home, your own bathroom, using your own soap, eating your own cereal, smelling everything and it smelling like you, with traces of soap, and coffee, and everything else that you love.
A good pair of jeans. There is nothing better than that good pair of jeans, the ones you love to wear when you are just hanging with your buddies, maybe going to eat some good Clarks barbecue, or just playing a game of Nertz- those jeans are with you through the spills and the greasy fingers.
And of course, and most importantly- Christ. Do I need to write anything here- or can you just fill in the blanks with your own words and what he means to you...
