Cheap People

I don't like Cheap People. People that hold on to their money and wait for other people to spend theirs, or people who complain about spending a few dollars as if it is going to be the end of the world if they spend a couple dollars on this or that. There is a difference between being a good steward of your money, and just being plain CHEAP.

I don't appreciate people who assume that just because you make a lot of money that you should pay for things. Never assume that just because someone makes a lot of money that they have a lot of money to spend on you.

Never hint around that someone should pay for something...

Never say, "Are you paying for this?" Followed with a laugh that implies that you were just joking, when in reality you weren't.

Offer to pay for something every now and then. It won’t hurt you. Even when I made pennies I still offered to pay because it is good to give.

Countless stories have been told of miserly men, in the end their stingy-ness only hurts them in the long run. Their money becomes their only friend.

So friends and acquaintances- if you wonder why I don’t call, if you wonder why I don’t invite, if you wonder why I don’t accept invitations, then you are probably a stuffy, cheap person that has gotten on my last nerve- especially if I have already given you everything that I have… I have no more to give, so why is it so hard for you to give back?
