10 things about going to Waco to see Joe and Amber Bruner

1. I can ALWAYS beat Joe at a fast game of racquetball. Sure he beat me every time we played, but that is because I let him. I noticed that he was feeling a little down on himself this week and so I said to myself, "Eddie, you should let Joe win, that will cheer him up." and it did.

2. TV trays are a God Send! We got food to-go twice and ate in the living room on TV trays. I love them- I don't have any of my own, but I really like them.

3. Breakfast Cookies - Always be sure to make enough cookies the night before to be able to eat them for breakfast the next morning. Joe says that when eaten with milk it is just like cereal- who am I to argue.

4. There is a such thing as TOO MUCH SportsCenter!!! I didn't think it was possible, but it is. I love you Joe- but I saw that Pacers/Pistons fight 36 times!!!

5. Amber is the sweetest girl on the face of the Earth. Ladies, take note, guys want to marry someone sweet. Hotness helps too, but BE SWEET!!!

6. Fabris Softener- I don't know what type of Fabric Softener Amber uses but everything smells so fresh and clean.

7. Cool Friends- when you have your cool friends in town, introduce them to your other cool friends. I have to give a shout out here to the very cool "Anise" which is Joe and Amber's Italian friend. Anise is an seasoning, or an herb, it is the same herb whose oils are used in the licorice candy.

8. Eating - with good friends eating can be a sport. We literally had to go to the gym to burn off lunch so that we could enjoy dinner!

9. Listening - Joe and Amber are great listeners! Which is a good thing because I talk ALOT!!!

10. Laugh - Joe and Amber laugh at my jokes, even when they are not funny!! That is a good friend. I have to remember that when I am with my friends and they tell a joke that isn't funny.
