New Designs
I like Design. I wish that all day I could just sit around and get paid to do web design. Currently I get to do web updating at work, I tell people it is web design, but we really don't get to be all that creative.

I created these 2 really quickly for my sister's web site. She has a karaoke business that is doing really well- surprisingly.
I need Adobe Illustrator and perhaps Macromedia Fireworks to do better graphics editing. I am still a novice when it comes to ths type of stuff, but I am learning and it is fun.

So Sorry Jes- what a pain blogger is sometimes. I am going to redo my site eventually to where Blogger is no longer in the picture. It has been a good friend to me, but I think I can do a better job and make it easier on my readers to publish comments... hopefully it will be more like Dooce's comments when I am done.

what i said before was something about me wanting to pick your brain on saturday (we're all still getting together, right?). you'll want to crush me into a ball and dunk me in a hoop by the time i'm done. let me apologize for myself right now. Sorry.
i've been trying to do this "webdesign" stuff, and i'm frustrated because i don't really know a whole lot about what i'm doing, and i'm trying to follow eb's HMTL reference guide, but it's not doing what i want. i envy your capabilities. is there some class i can take to make me like you? :)
roger is making me a masthead, and i want to incorporate it, and i'm trying to get all this figured out before i take over our website (rogerandjessica.com) that currently has our wedding pics on it. OBVIOUSLY i'm not going to leave those pics up for the rest of our lives. :)
anyhow, so i tried to follow your advice...you know: "just go pick up a copy of Dreamweaver and you'll be well on your way." yeah. eddie. you should have warned me that it is, like, $400. so i didn't get a copy because that qualifies as a "major purchase," which requires saving and discussing with Roger.
i hope that i can get some sort of software soon to help me out, though, because i spent a good amt of time in B&N reading "CSS for Dummies" and "HTML for Dummies" type books, and i left feeling even MORE stupid.
i should stop typing now. and i'm going to copy this and pasted it somewhere, just in case it gets erased again, because this is even MORE than what i wrote the first time.

Eddie! I like the new design - very eerie! Would be perfect around Halloween! The trees look like they have knobby, deformed fingers that have dug their way out of the earth.
