Blogged-Down

I don't know if this word is already in the Urban Dictionary but it should be. Here is my definition.

Blogged-Down:
A. When you allow your blog, multiple blogs, or commenting on blogs to keep you from interacting with reality.
B. When you are behind on posting on your blog and you have multiple things to blog about.

Used in a sentence.

1. I was so blogged-down yesterday that I totally missed two meetings and a conference call.

2. Ugh. I am so blogged-down right now that I don't have time to go to my meetings or to handle this conference call.

3. "I have eight things to post about on my blog and no time to post them, I am SO BLOGGED-DOWN! LEAVE ME ALONE AND LET ME BLOG!!!!"

Tell me if you ever get "blogged-down" and if so, please use it in a sentence.

eddie. you were so blogged-down yesterday that you missed two meetings and a conference call? i find this hard to believe, since you didn't post at all.

you, the kind of blogging, need to let us know when you won't be blogging. seriously, i was concerned.

Unfortunately, Jimmy's brother was hit by a car on Saturday and killed and so I was at his funeral yesterday all day and there was really no way to fit in time to blog.

It was nice to got to see Jimmy though, I really missed him more than I realized. When one of your best friends in the world moves to another country and then suddenly they come back after a year for something tragic it is a bitter-sweet reunion filled with lots of mixed emotions.

I've been blogged down all week because of work, but I've still managed to blog a couple of times.

I don't usually use the term "blogged down" but I did tell someone to "blog off" once.

Adorable post, Eddo.

And I was going to write a sentence using blogged-down, but then I read the comment about your friend's brother, and am not feeling particularly light-hearted anymore. Condolences to you and your friend, Jimmy's, family.

I get blogged down every day and can't seem to keep up with the laundry.

Sorry to hear about your friend's brother. You have my regards.

I like it, however I notice most people are using it where we already have an appropriate phase, bogged down. Instead I humbly feel it should be used something like this:

"Dude, I had so many comments to that post I wrote yesterday that I'm blogged down in potential replies."

Oh and with lime, but of course.:)
