Are these Mine?
I am working on updating my wardrobe so that my dress will be in keeping with my new position at work.
What this means is no more jeans and t-shirts and more khaki's and button-ups. Ugh.
So this morning I am getting dressed and I slip into some dress socks and they are really comfortable. I look at them more closely and I realize that they are a dark color with a barely noticeable teal and maroon pattern on them. Upon further inspection it dawns on me that these are not my socks.
I don't wear socks with a reinforced band around the top because they feel too constricting. These have have a re-inforced top. I must have picked them up at the laundry mat as sometimes I find kiddie socks or too small t-shirt in my laundry.
So now I am wondering... Are these my underwear? They do feel a little tight.

There are PLENTY of nice shirts for you whenever you have a chance to come get them.
You're wearing somebody else's socks?!! Funny. Somebody else's undies? Not funny.
That should be an insta-poll. Raise your hand if you've ever worn somebody else's undies.
someone elses underwear?
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Oh Eddie you make me laugh (all the time)
so much to be said...
As long as they're clean it doesn't really matter if they're your underwear or not... that is, unless they're thongs.
Thanks AM, I need to get those!
Saur, you are a riot, I don't know how girls wear thongs - but I don't know how you girls put up with a lot of discomforts that you put up with. I just thank God EVER DAY that I am a man.
On a side note, I think a kilt every now and then would be a nice option, especially in the summer here in Texas.
If you wear a kilt then you don't have to worry if it's your underwear or someone else's 'cause you'll be going commando.
Someone else's socks - no prob.
Someone else's undies - no thanks.
oh, goodness. not someone else's undaroos.
as long as you don't know that they belong to someone else, you are ok... but when you know they are not your underwear and you wear them anyways... then you gota problem! yuck!
Eddo, just give us a heads up if you're wearing a kilt. I'll stay in my section of the metroplex.
Remember all those bagpipers at the Fair?
that was me. sorry. I'll make my fourth comment of the day.
Kilts & short togas: primitive man's solution to air conditioning.
Ewwww. Hahahah.
Someone mentioned going commando......I've heard that sometimes that's the way to go. :D
no undie switching...not good.
so do you have community laundry?

You have to wear a dress to work? Pictures please...
Len, (insert head shake here) ha ha - you are so funny. In America we say things like "dress" when we are talking about clothes. What do you guys say?
