Henry the VIII's Armor
I am speaking at the boys home this weekend and I was looking for some visuals to go along with my talk - Putting on the Full Armor of God. I saw this and I was like PERFECT! Then I looked closer and I said - "What? what is that?"
So do you see it? Does that look normal?

if Henry is short for Henrietta that NO THAT IS NOT NORMAL, if Henry is short for Henry that I have no comment
EDDIE, only you, ONLY YOU
Maybe riding his horse caused his private parts to become swollen.
Thus, the need for the bulging metal.
BWA HA HA HA. Jes! Oh my goodness.
MY EYES! MY EYES!
That must have been one proud knight.
Jes, your comments are always hilarious and bizarre... I love it!
A mans "privates" is sometimes seen as the most important part of a males body. Therefore you shall protect it with extra strength, durability, and purhaps some boldness to catch the enemies eyes has he is being attacked. The enemy will never know what hit him! DISTRACTION IS THE KEY TO WINNING!
CODY - ahahahahaha, your comment made me bust out laughing. Distraction is right.
Cody! BWWHAHHAHAAHHA! That is the best comment ever!
I'm thinking less a distraction and more of a target. (And we thought the nipples on the batsuit were bad.)
He may have only been a Knight, but the ladies exclaimed "Oh Lord!"
Actually, that part of a suit of armor is known as a "Codpiece." Henry was extremely vain and had his made specially to enhance that area to a larger size than any other codpiece in the kingdom. Kind of like not sitting higher than the king, you were not allowed to wear a larger cup than Henry!
See, That is why blogging is so cool, you learn something knew everyday.
Thanks Eric, that is good to know.
Testosterone plus the need for protection, I suppose.
All I can say is that that cup would have come in handy when I was in Junior High at a National Youth Sports Camp and got smacked in the testies by a soccer ball. My guess is that this was Henry's soccer uniform.
It looks normal to ME Eddie... but some of us are just "gifted"
Elephantitis is a curse Steve, not a gift...
Claire?? Claire??
Of course you would have to ride in the backseat...
(anyone? Movie quote?)
The Elephant Man?
no... but there is a lamp in teh shape of an elephant in the movie...
It's the Breakfast Club

HA HA HA. There are some hilarious quotes today. But what do you expect with a photo like THAT?
really someone please tell me why I am drawn back to this post over and over again
Wait, STOP, I know what you are all thinking and that is NOT it, I now submit a newly altered comment
really someone please tell me why I am drawn back to THESE COMMENTS over and over again
and really is it even possible for "nuts" to ride shotgun, I think that would make driving very difficult
I can't imagine wearing this armor and trying to ride a horse... but maybe back then the saddles were different.
and another thing . . . . can the phrase "nut up" be used in the context of that armor?
Would you ever consider dating a guy like this? I mean if he had a great personality, was a good dancer and had cool car?
um... I don't date guys...
So... many... awful... things... ahhhhhhahahahahahahahaha!!! I HATE not being around during the day anymore!
what my principal just said when i showed her this:
"Well . . . you gotta put your privacies somewhere"
add on by a mom
"otherwise they would be squeezed down by his leg and that wouldn't be good"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
these are the female role models I am surrounded by . . . . I LOVE IT
oh my. that's hilarious K-T. I am so glad I KNOW these women. Because that makes it even more fun.
This was a great comment day. Which is why I'm signing back in at almost 9pm.
