Decidededdddely Uncreative

I don’t know how to spell decidedly, or wait, maybe I do. Maybe I need to spell it out while clapping or jumping rope like Akeelah in Akeelah and the Bee. Did you see that movie? You didn’t? Oh, I bet you aren’t a good speller and so that movie intimidates you. I’m like that with movies where the main characters workout, look good, and tell the truth all the time.

Today is Monday and what is there to talk about on Monday? Well, there is the weekend of course, but that isn’t always filled with interesting stuff to talk about. I didn’t see any crazy doctors, my upstairs neighbors weren’t loud, I don’t have any lesions or rashes or neurotic psychoses to talk about and so this Monday is boring and drab – kind of like that new show Brothers and Sisters on ABC. (I do like Sally Field and Calista Flockhart but together in the same movie is like a drama overload.)

When I first popped open my blogger thing-a-ma-jig I was going to write about how people can’t take compliments. I had some really good metaphors, similes, analogies, anecdotes, etcetera floating in my head and then when I went to type them I was thought to myself, “Self, your head hurts and it has been a really long day and it is Monday and know one really expects you to be creative and exciting on Monday and so why bother?” So I already had blogger open and so I thought I would write about how I am not feeling creative and then when the word decidedly popped into my head I thought it had a nice ring to it but then I didn’t know how to spell it. And that made me think of Akeelah and the Bee.

So, maybe later this week I will tell you about the headache I had today or the fact that I hardly had to pee today even though I drank a lot of water, or maybe I will tell you about my dream I had where I kept saying over and over “if you build it they will come” and how I hated that dream. Doesn’t all that sound fascinating? No?

Well, later tonight if you can’t sleep just re-read this post because I am sure it will put you right to sleep.
