When I was at a Song of Solomon conference, Tom Nelson told a story of a widow who had just lost her husband. Her husband was a 4 star General in the Navy and she said when he died, “We were married for 60 years and during that entire time, not once did my husband ever hurt me.”
I hope to be a husband like that. I know I am going to mess up, but I will do my best to never hurt you.
