Of the four, this one is by far the best. It’s the same story every time, but this one is actually pretty cool if you are into geeky programming and if you are the least bit “techy”.
I don’t really consider myself much of a geek. I love computers, I can work my way around most things electronic, but I’m not a gadget freak or a techno-genius, but I do understand most geek speak and I can appreciate a movie that pushes the limits of what is possible to do with technology and the human body all at the same time. Live Free or Die Hard does just that.
Bruce Willis, he’s 52 now, still kicks butt and makes jumping off of planes and automobiles seem effortless – something that my 31 year old knees cannot do and I don’t really have knee issues, I just know better than to be jumping off of cars and planes or else I will have knee issues.
I saw the movie at Denton Movie Tavern and was delighted with the excellent qaulity of the food. I had some excellent chicken quesadillas that were better than many of the quesadillas that I’ve had at a number of Mexican food chain restaurants. I also indulged and had some southwestern egg rolls. I had played Ultimate Frisbee earlier in the day and then mowed the Cribbies lawn and so I was ravenous by dinner time.
So if you don’t have any plans for the 4th of July – go check out Live Free or Die Hard – you’ll be glad you did!
